"My experience training with Bryan Rose was everything I wanted, plus some. I came out of training feeling much more confident, not only in my tailwheel flying, but even in tricycle gear aircraft. I learned how little I previously used the rudder pedals, and now heavily lean on my rudders for the majority of control inputs. I have implemented many aspects of Bryan’s teaching into my own instruction with my PPL students. I will send any/all folks interested in learning in a tailwheel aircraft to Bryan Rose!"
"Flying with Bryan was great! I got my private pilot about two years ago and always wanted to fly tailwheel airplanes. Finding an instructor for that endorsement is not common in West Texas, but luckily I found him nearby. At first, I thought the hourly price was high, but looking back it was all worth it. I learned more in the first 2 hours of flight than I learned with three other instructors in the last 50 dual hours of my PPL. My grandpa was a pilot for a long time, and he told me about the old school maneuvers they used to teach and how they don’t teach it anymore. Well, Bryan does! I used to be able to operate flying a plane, but now I feel like I can wear the plane and understand the art of flying better and safer. Teaching tailwheel was a great experience. He walked me through things I struggled with and through repetition I got it down. The J-3 Cub has to be one of my favorite aircraft I can say that I have flown. Overall a 10/10 experience and I hope to maintain good contact with Bryan for more learning experiences in the future."
"Bryan was awesome! He's a great guy to be around, super friendly and an excellent teacher. With his experience, he understands how tailwheel aerodynamics apply to practical flight on a foundational level. I would recommend him to anyone that is interested in tailwheel flying!"
